Forescout secures DoD ‘Comply-to-Connect’ contract, as program expands to secure OT environmen…
– Industrial Cyber News Desk
Forescout Technologies recently announced that they have secured the U.S.
Department of Defense (DoD) Comply to Connect (C2C) contract.
Under the C2C program, the DoD will continue to expand its efforts to secure operational technology (OT) environments within military networks and defense industrial base contractor networks.
Forescout’s security platform is set to provide advanced visibility and security for endpoints on DoD networks, identify and control peers connecting to DoD networks, and enable easy validation of connected IT and OT devices.
In addition, Forescout’s offerings will help the DoD protect civilian and military networks by protecting against unauthorized access and malware.
The DoD C2C program aims to increase the security and resilience of military networks in the face of increasingly diverse cyber threats.
This program will help to secure the connected endpoints of military networks by using a centralized, unified system for the purpose of managing and monitoring access to the networks.
The C2C program will also be used to secure communication between military networks and defense industrial base contractor networks.
The program is expected to cover both OT and IT environments.
OT environments include industrial control systems, surveillance systems, manufacturing systems, and other mission-critical systems.
