The Council is made up of leaders from various parts of the government, including the police forces, the Intelligence Bureau, the Reserve Bank of India, and the Financial Intelligence Unit, as well as representatives from private and public sectors.
The Council seeks to bring together the various entities involved in the cyber security space in India in order to create a unified cyber security strategy.
The Council’s meetings will also provide a platform for members to share best practices and exchange knowledge on cyber security and other related issues.
Furthermore, the government has already announced plans to set up the Council’s Secretariat in order to provide support for the functioning of the Council.
The aim is to bring together key stakeholders to create a cyber security policy that applies to all law enforcement bodies in India.
