Accenture has acquired MNEMO Mexico, a privately held company specializing in managed cybersecurity services.
MNEMO Mexico, founded in 2012, has a team of 229 cybersecurity professionals and offers advanced cyber defense and response capabilities, a cyber intelligence platform powered by generative AI, and a security operations center in Mexico City.
This acquisition will help Accenture expand its presence in Mexico, strengthen its capabilities in Latin America, and meet the growing demand for managed security services in the region.
Mexico is a country frequently targeted by cyberattacks, and there is a challenge in recruiting and retaining cybersecurity talent.
With this acquisition, Accenture aims to build more cyber-resilient businesses and secure digital ecosystems.
MNEMO Mexico’s team will join Accenture Security’s global workforce, which currently consists of more than 19,500 professionals.
This acquisition follows previous acquisitions made by Accenture to enhance its managed security services, including the acquisition of Symantec’s Cyber Security Services business in 2020 and Brazil-based Morphus earlier in 2023.
Accenture is consistently recognized as a leader in the managed security services market.
